Gratz Gallery & Conservation Studio offers professional framing services as well as frame restoration and conservation. Choose from a selection of new, hand-crafted frames for your treasured artwork, or trust our skilled staff with the restoration and gold leaf gilding of your antique frames. Our selection of new frame options vary from contemporary to traditional.
We approach framing and frame repair with the same mindfulness and unique expertise as we do art conservation. Many custom frames are, after all, artworks themselves.
What to expect with our frame-repair services: The frame is stabilized, missing pieces are hand-carved or -cast, and the damaged segments are gilded, toned, and in-painted, with special care taken to match the existing patina.
