Extraordinary Holiday Painting Sale Great Opportunity to Acquire Quality Works of Art

Gratz Gallery & Conservation Studio is pleased to announce, An Extraordinary Holiday Painting Sale, beginning November 27th through January 31st 2016. The Gallery has been busy acquiring a fine selection of paintings over the last year. The majority of these pieces come directly from private collections and has never before been offered on the retail market. The Extraordinary Holiday Sale features paintings by many of the most admired Pennsylvania Impressionists, as well as artists from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. There are also examples of African American Artists such as Joseph Delaney and major 19th Century American painters as well.

The collection features a fine example of Daniel Garber titled "Geddes Lane", a local spring scene in Bucks County. Included are two important works by George Inness and Jane Peterson. There are also some stunning examples of Walter Baum's work, including several lovely snow-covered townscapes. Additional highlights include two wonderful exhibition paintings by Harry Leith-Ross. There are many local Pennsylvania Scenes by Rae Sloan Bredin, John Folinsbee, Joseph Pearson, Henry Snell, Antonio Martino and many others. The sale also includes newly discovered works by Nelson Shanks. Modern and Abstract Artists are also represented such as Leonard Nelson, Leon Kelly and Marc Chagall.

The exhibition will run through the holidays until January 31st, 2016.

The Gallery's new location is on a ten acre farm just north of Doylestown Pa at 5230 Silo Hill Rd Doylestown Pa. 18902, Gratz Gallery and Conservation Studio features 19th and 20th century American Art, as well as museum quality fine art conservation services, appraisals and custom framing.  The gallery is open Wednesdays through Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Sundays, 12:00 noon – 6:00 p.m., as well as by appointment.
